Students of all abilities are welcome. These half and full-day programs are designed to be bookable around your schedule. Come learn, relax and play when you are available. Packages include lodging, unlimited golf with cart, breakfast, instruction, and an academy gift.
Half Day Packages: Include 3 Hours of Instruction Each Day
Full Day Packages: Include 6 Hours of Instruction Each Day
These packages are completely customizable to your needs. Dates and lesson times can be booked whenever we have teachers available. Full Day Packages also include lunch with your PGA Professional each day of instruction.
The half day programs are a good fit for students looking to learn, but also prefer more free time to play golf, enjoy the restaurant or just unwind. The full day programs offer a more intense learning experience for those interested in completely diagnosing their game as well as extra practicing and playing opportunities with your PGA Professional. Both the half day and full day packages are available for either 1, 2 3, or 4 day stays with lesson itineraries and lesson times customized to suit the student(s)’ needs.
Prices vary based on dates chosen, single or double occupancy, lodging choice, and student to teacher ratios. Student to teacher ratios typically vary from 1:1 up to 4:1, allowing students to choose the ratio that best suits their party. Larger corporate or leisure groups are also welcome. Let us design a customized package to meet your needs. The Golf Academy staff has hosted wonderful experiences for groups of up to 70 students at a time. Private Instruction

We can custom-fit instruction packages for any experience level.

Individual 60 Minute Lessons
Adult Single Lesson: $90
Adult 3 Lesson Series: $240
This private lesson period is designed to assist our golfers in improving their performance on the course. At the start of the session, your professional will conduct a brief interview in which the golfer offers a self-evaluation of their game and insights into their desired improvement goals. The coach will then help the player address the goals in a manner that is consistent with the individual player’s level of experience, physical abilities and proposed time table. We will also provide a flexibility screening followed by video analysis, driver or iron characteristic identification, drills and exercises for improvement. Each student receives a video summary of the above to continue their learning via the V1 Sports App.
Full Evaluation Lesson
Adult: $225
This lesson offering is geared towards the golfer that wishes to make a time commitment to a program to develop their golf performance. In the initial interview, the golfer will make a self-assessment in all areas of their game to include: driving, iron play, approach wedges, short game including putting, mental approach and physical fitness or disability. The instructor will then conduct various tests of flexibility, mobility and stability to determine how those may have an influence on the player’s swing tendencies. The player’s skills will be tested in the above club or situational categories to determine proficiency. The instructor may then use high speed video or radar launch monitor statistics to help the student learn more about the characteristics of their swing and how it may have an impact on their performance. Following the PGA Professional’s assessment, several different courses of action may be advised, from specific areas of practice, to skill development, physical fitness or other lesson programs.
Full Evaluation Lesson Series – Private Only
Adult: $450
A two-hour full evaluation with three additional 60 minute lessons. As an expansion of the above evaluation lesson, this series is for the golfer that desires follow up lessons to guide them through the development and learning process. It is designed as a plan of action to address areas of the game that a player is lacking in proficiency. Each lesson is geared to help the student improve in one area that is fundamental to reaching their desired goals. In addition, our PGA Professionals will offer practice plans that have been proven to be the most effective way to enhance learning and improve your on-course performance.

Get Golf Ready
For those looking to get back in the game or take up the game for the first time, this is an excellent opportunity to get your feet wet. Simple instruction focused on the fundamentals of the game, rules of the game, and enjoying the game. Get Golf Ready is a full orientation to the game of golf that will have you playing with friends and family in less than 5 weeks.
Begin your Golf Adventure!!

Learn the Clubs in your bag and when to use them.
Become Familiar with golf customs and etiquette and how to play the course.

Remote Video Lessons
V1 Sports is a professional sports video analysis program that allows teachers and coaches to maximize visual learning with their students. Swan Lake Resort uses its program and phone app exclusively for the ultimate learning experience for our students.
Single Video Lesson: $39 (Prepaid)
Video Series of 3 Lessons: $99
How do I arrange a video lesson?
- Call Swan Lake Resort at 574-935-5680 x722 or email us at jericsson@swanlakeresort.com to register. You will be asked to download the V1 Sports App onto your phone.
- Receive instructions on filming your swings (2). We will need one each from Down the Line (DL) and Face-On angle (FO). We will also ask you to make payment via Credit Card over the phone with one of our staff members.
- Upload and send your videos. You will receive an email confirmation of receipt within 24 hours.
- Within 48 hours, you will receive your swing analysis with accompanying drills and exercises from our PGA Teaching Professionals.
Individual Junior Lessons
Individual Junior Lessons gives your young golfer one on one attention from our qualified PGA Professionals to help them work towards their goals in the game of golf.

Junior Team Golf Program
TeamGolf is a weekly Junior Golf training program for golfer aged 7-18. It has four distinct sessions that correspond to the seasons. Classes are held each Sunday afternoon in groups based on age and experience. These sessions range in time from 60 to 90 minutes.
Junior Team Golf Fees
Grade School Students: $160 per student
High School Students: $200 per student
Fees Include: Weekly practices for the 3 month season plus several open house practice sessions. Golf balls, skills competitions, golf club measurement and recommendations are also included.
Weekly golf practice, directed by our PGA Professionals, will cover all of the fundamentals of the swing, short game, putting as well as golf etiquette and rules. It is a low pressure, inclusive atmosphere that views mistakes as opportunities to learn. We emphasize The Growth Mindset which makes learning fun and challenging. We utilize the magnificent Swan Lake Resort short game facility. This gives a great place to improve your child’s scoring skills and gives them the head start to competing for their school team.
