Our 36-holes of golf are often described as “in Country Club condition,” but you won’t be paying private club fees to enjoy outstanding golf, facilities, and service. Swan Lake Resort offers a modern clubhouse with a fully stocked golf shop and a sports bar-style grille room.
For the golfers that do enjoy membership privileges, Swan Lake Resort offers an annual membership program. Membership entitles you to unlimited green fees, seasonal outdoor range use, USGA handicap, and unlimited use of Fitness Center and indoor/outdoor pools, along with discounts on resort services, dining, and golf equipment.

The experience at Swan Lake was awesome. The instruction from John was great. It has really improved my game. I love the game of golf even more now. I never had a lesson before and therefore really had nothing to practice. Now with the instruction I received, I can go out and practice what I’ve learned and become more efficient at the game. Also, the accommodations and food was great. The overall experience was super and I have highly recommended Swan Lake to my friends. Thanks again.
Everything was great. Our room was the first room by the entrance – quite convenient. Everyone at the hotel went out of their way to make sure we enjoyed our stay. John was phenomenal. He took his time and was very patient with us. He thoroughly explained all of the instructions/lessons. I would highly recommend John to anyone who wants to improve their golf game. We are hoping to come back in July to have John fit us for new clubs. The golf courses were in great shape. We thoroughly enjoyed our time playing golf on both courses. I don’t know how we got three days in without any rain. Our entire stay was greater than we anticipated.
Leigh and I had our wedding at Swan Lake this past October and had an absolutely wonderful experience. We worked with Taylor to pull it all together from California. Taylor and all the team at Swan Lake made the planning simple and the day of worry-free. Taylor worked hard to address any last-minute needs and somehow was able to manage to banish the rain we had in the morning so we had a perfect ceremony and reception. We had so much fun! Oh and, the first same-sex wedding for Taylor and Swan Lake. We could not have been more welcomed. My name is Brandon and I have a family of seven from Wisconsin. We made a last-minute decision to come to Plymouth to visit family and took a room at another hotel in the area. When we woke, we were appalled by the dirtiness and disappointed that the pool was dirty. We checked out and called Swan Lake Resort. They took us at the last minute and got us into a booked hotel within a couple of hours. They even allowed us to swim while we waited. Great and friendly staff with a beautiful resort. It was very clean and orderly. Thanks to Swan Lake Resort for turning around our weekend. My family and I will be staying here every time we come to visit!
We had our wedding at Swan Lake and it was AMAZING! They had everything perfect for our big day, and Taylor and Mary Ellen were so incredibly helpful throughout the entire process, even when I was a bit of a pain. 🙂 I am so blessed to have had the opportunity to get married here with this amazing staff, the beautiful venue, and the wonderful food. This beautiful place made my wedding a dream come true! Through the entire process and up until the day of the wedding Taylor and Maryellen were nothing but help! I was so amazed by the help I received. On the day of the wedding, I did not have a care in the world as they took total care of the entire day! I truly felt like a bride. There is not one bad thing I have to say, how could I? They helped me with my making my dream wedding a reality!
Our experience with Swan Lake Resort, and working with Taylor, Erin, and Maryellen for our wedding reception was incredible. Taylor is so nice and incredibly organized. I was confident in Taylor and did not worry about one thing during our planning process. Erin and Maryellen carried out our décor set up perfectly on the day of the wedding and were so easy to work with. Their entire staff helped our day run smoothly. The venue itself is beautiful, and the hotel was convenient for our guests staying overnight. Swan Lake Resort is THE place to have your wedding!
We had our wedding at Swan Lake. Taylor and the rest of the staff were so amazing! We were nervous at first because we didn’t know how they felt about same-sex weddings, but Taylor made us feel so comfortable and the rest of the staff was so great as well. I highly, highly recommend Swan Lake for any wedding or event!!
I planned a trip for eight to Swan Lake Resort for a bachelor party. We planned the event as a Stay and Play package with Lindsay and she walked me through everything. It was a painless, seamless process. Their package prices are very reasonable. We stayed in a log cabin and greatly enjoyed the rustic feel with full amenities. The fire pit was a great addition. I planned our four-round Ryder Cup format with Clint and he input all our info into their EZ golf system. Our carts were always waiting on us with bags ready, scorecards printed and everything squared away. We made some changes between rounds and it was very easy. Everyone on staff was attentive and polite. Overall the experience was exceptional. It’s only 2 hours from Chicago and we are already rebooking for a group of 16 next year!
