April 28 through May 1, Dickie's hosted 4 soft openings by invitation only for selected community members including: golf members, media, businesses and a representation of surrounding families and community members. Over 300 people were in attendance. Each night, guests received free appetizers and meals while learning more about the restaurant and resort from President, Pam Smith; General Manager, Geoff Payne; and Executive Chef, Zachary Lucchese. A ribbon cutting took place on April 29 with the Plymouth Chamber of Commerce and WTCA conducted on air, live interviews with Swan Lake Resort managers on April 30.
