Swan Lake Resort Partners with Plymouth Speedway

Swan Lake Resort and Dickies Restaurant are excited to announce a partnership with Plymouth Speedway.  We look forward to getting involved with "The Playground of Power" to help bring top notch dirt track racing right here to Plymouth, IN.  With our renewed efforts of giving back to the community we are a part of, we felt like this was a perfect fit.  

Along with signage along the backstretch for both Swan Lake Resort and our two restaurants (Dickies and Putter's Bar & Grille), we are thrilled that we are also going to be the title sponsor for two of the regular year long series.  Swan Lake Resort will be the title sponsor of the UMP Modified series and Dickies Restaurant will be the title sponsor of the 600 Sprint series.  This is a fun way for us to get involved and we cannot wait to be a part of it. 

Track Owner Ed Kennedy, Irish Saunders and the crew at Plymouth Speedway are working very hard to not only improve the experience for the drivers but for the fans as well.  Plymouth Speedway is a family friendly venue for everyone to enjoy a night of racing.  We know that the future is bright at Plymouth Speedway and are proud to be associated with "The Playground of Power".  Check out the 2014 schedule through the link below and plan a night of fun for the entire family.

Dickies at Swan Lake Resort is excited to welcome back Autumn Leed and The Dirty Earth Band on Saturday, June 14th beginning at 9:00 PM.   

Autumn Leed & The Dirty Earth Band play a high energy variety of music ranging from classic rock and country to 80's pop and modern country.  We had a great time with them the last time they were here and cannot wait to get things rolling on June 14th.  Make a night of it with a great dinner at Dickies Restaurant and enjoy something off the new menu.  We look forward to seeing everyone next Saturday, June 14th at 9:00 PM.

Beer Blast 2014 at Swan Lake Resort

Join us at Putter's Bar and Grilles located in the Clubhouse of the Golf Course on Saturday, June 28th for Beer Blast 2014.  This has become one of our signature summer events at Swan Lake Resort.  It is a fun night with friends that happens to includes the opportunity to taste some of the greatest Craft Brews the area has to offer.  We will also have live entertainment provided by Joey Garcia and The Lou Dogs.

Specific Event details are as follows:

  • Date:  Saturday, June 28th
  • Location:  Putter's Bar & Grille
  • Time:  Beer Tasting from 7 PM to 10 PM with Live Entertainment from Joey Garcia and The Lou Dogs from 7 PM to 11 PM
  • Cost:  $35 per person and includes Beer Blast Pint Glass, Beer Tasting and Light Food Options

Beer Blast 2014 Community Benefactor:

Every year we choose a benefactor for this event.  For Beer Blast 2014, we have chosen Sunflower Farms in Plymouth, IN.  Sunflower Farms is a community garden that is beginning its service to Marshall County in 2014.  Sunflower Farms will provide a local source of fruits and vegetables to those in need.  They will educate families about the benefits of gardening and cultivate a community of individuals committed to sustainable land use.  They will encourage their families to share their harvest with others, including the Food Bank of Northwest Indiana.  While starting small in 2014, with our help they can be a very important part of the Marshall County Community for years to come.

We look forward to welcoming everyone to Putter's Bar & Grille at Swan Lake Resort on Saturday, June 28th for a great night of fun.

Swan Lake Resort is excited to welcome Brett Wisons this Saturday, May 10th.  Brett was raised on a unique amalgam of music ranging from vocal powerhouses Sade, Jeff Buckley and Edwin McCain to rock bands Pearl Jam, Eagles, the Sundays and the aforementioned Hootie. Within these influences you’ll find his musical marriage: jangly pop, a dash of soul and moody acoustics to create a sound all his own.  We look forward to having him join us live in Dickies at Swan Lake Resort on Saturday, May 10th, beginning at 9 PM.

Dickies at Swan Lake Resort Launches New Menu

As the weather finally starts to turn and the colors of spring begin to pop, Dickies at Swan Lake Resort thought now was a great time to launch something new and fresh as well.  Chef Zachary Lucchese has created a wonderful new menu for all of our guests to enjoy.  There are still a lot of your favorites from the last menu including the Cowboy Steak, Pig Wings and SLR Burger.  But, he has also added some wonderful new items including Grouper, Jumbo Fried Shrimp and a Bison Burger.  Click the link below for the entire menu.

Easter Brunch at Swan Lake Resort

Join us at Dickies on Saturday, March 15th for our St. Patrick's Day Bash.  Put on your Green and come out for a party.  We will have live entertainment from The Crossroads Band beginning at 9:00PM.  There is No Cover Charge for this event.  So make your plans now to be at Dickies on Saturday, March 15th for Great Food, Great Drinks, Great Music and Great Fun!  We will see you then.

Over 300 Attend Dickie's Opening Events

April 28 through May 1, Dickie's hosted 4 soft openings by invitation only for selected community members including: golf members, media, businesses and a representation of surrounding families and community members.  Over 300 people were in attendance. Each night, guests received free appetizers and meals while learning more about the restaurant and resort from President, Pam Smith; General Manager, Geoff Payne; and Executive Chef, Zachary Lucchese. A ribbon cutting took place on April 29 with the Plymouth Chamber of Commerce and WTCA conducted on air, live interviews with Swan Lake Resort managers on April 30.
